Nutrition

If you’ve already decided to be supported with your health goals, for existing Health Coach clients, I also offer professional Nutrition services!

This means your health goals can be extended, supported by extensive and professional food information!

As each of us are unique, I use a personalised approach to support health.

As a Nutritional Therapist, I use natural means along with a (w)holistic Functional Medicine approach, to enable self regulation of the body’s natural healing mechanisms.

Qualifications & Background

After spending time with you, taking extensive notes, pertaining to your medical, diet, work life balance, stress, sleep, exercise, relationship etc aspects, we bring these elements together in creating your personalised plan.

We chat through options to suit your health goals, to obtain the one which best suits your lifestyle.

Comprehensive outputs are provided based on an extensive and thorough Functional Medicine process, including information guides from The Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM).

Your personalised health coaching and nutrition plans can also incorporate your DNA results, such as results from DNA Health, Diet, Mind and Sport testing from professional and reputable laboratories.  As a DNA Life certified practitioner, trained in Nutrigenomics, this means we can integrate your nutrition and geneset (DNA) results.

The personalised plan can also include cognitive aspects if required, as also qualified in cognitive health.

Your plan will be created and talked through with you extensively, including how lifestyle changes may support dis-ease prevention.

As am trained by The Institute of Functional Medicine and their logo is displayed re course “Applied Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice”, I require to abide by their guidelines, hence, display following words:-
Functional medicine emphasises a definable and teachable process of integrating multiple knowledge bases within a pragmatic intellectual matrix that focuses on functionality at many levels, rather than a single treatment for a single diagnosis. Functional medicine uses the patient’s story as a key tool for integrating diagnosis, signs and symptoms, and evidence of clinical imbalances into a comprehensive approach to improve both the patient’s environmental inputs and his or her physiological function.
The Institute for Functional Medicine teaches health care professional’s how to apply these principles in practice through an intensive 5 day training course called Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice™.

I attended and completed the AFMCP™-UK training in London in 2018.
